Cookies & storage

In short

We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, and never have. What gets stored falls into two groups: what the shop needs to work, which cannot be switched off because without it there is no shop, and counting visits, which only happens if you accept it.

The essentials (always)

• Session (cookie) — keeps you signed in from page to page. Set by Supabase. Cleared when you sign out.
• Bag (local storage) — the pieces you added, so a reload does not lose them.
• Theme (local storage) — whether you chose night mode, so the page looks the way you left it.
• Your answer to this question (local storage) — with the date, so we do not ask again and can show what you chose.

The bag, the theme and your answer are not cookies: they live in your browser and are never sent to the server.

These cannot be turned off, and the law does not require us to ask permission for them: without the session you cannot reach your account, and without the bag you cannot buy anything.

If you accept everything

One thing is added: Vercel Analytics, which counts how many times each page was viewed. It works without cookies and without identifying anyone — we know a page was seen, not who saw it. It tells us what people are looking for and what to restock.

If you choose “only the essentials”, that measurement is not loaded. It is not loaded and then told to ignore you: the browser never requests it.

There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook or TikTok pixel, nothing that follows you to other sites. If we ever add something like that to advertise, it will belong to this same group and we will ask you again before switching it on.

How to change your mind

At the foot of any page, in the Legal column, there is a link that says “Cookie preferences”. Open it and choose again. Withdrawing permission is as easy as giving it, and it takes effect immediately.

How to clear all of it

From your browser settings, by clearing site data. You will lose the bag, be signed out, and be asked the question above again — nothing else. A private window works too, where all of it clears itself when you close it.
